Fastweb is one of the largest Italian telecommunications companies and has a large and articulated structure. Fastweb offices are managed with different hierarchical levels of location: from the geographical area, to the city, up to the specific room with more than one hundred different locations. Even the furniture is classified in detail. Fastweb therefore needed a powerful Enterprise Asset Management solution.

The approach
We have developed a tracking system with UHF RFID tags that allow you to immediately identify an asset and know its characteristics (unique serial number, description, code, type, status, location).
We have implemented our eRam platform thanks to which Fastweb can manage more than 3000 codes of tagged material on which it can perform handling and inventories, as well as classify them according to a parameter such as a state (intact/damaged).
Thanks to the results and benefits achieved by the company, Fastweb decided to renew the contract on new servers and to start a project for integration with the platform already in use at the customer: Archibus IWMS (Integrated Workplace Management System) for the management of the life cycle of real estate assets.
