A complete RFID project for the large retail chain specialized in car maintenance and customization.
Part of the Mobivia group, Norauto is an important reality in the French market. The company decided to adopt RFID technology to track shipments and manage the distribution of products from the central warehouse to the points of sale on the Italian territory.
Customer needs

- Digitize the logistics in the inventories and identify any deviations
- Facilitate the point of sale in the identification of an article through the label search function
The Approach
After examining the critical issues found in the logistics flows, we started with the most critical process: tire management. We identified RFID tags that perform well in terms of reading and adhesive grip on rubber, even in critical temperature conditions.
We then developed an end-to-end solution to digitalize every phase: from order receipt and storage with the possibility of performing an automated inventory, verification of shipped goods and automatic compilation of the output list. Up to the entry of goods at the point of sale with complete second receipt check.
Finally, we have integrated the eRAM platform with the NORAUTO management system based on SAP.
