The Approach
Saras required a Warehouse Management solution to manage the assets stored in one of the warehouses at the refinery in Sardinia.
Our experts dematerialized the paper documents supporting the receipt and dispatch of goods, thus making the processes leaner and more accurate. They chose and used mixed RFID/barcode tags readable by mobile devices supplied to operators in the field to simplify and speed up activities.
We then integrated the customer’s SAP ERP system and made it communicate bidirectionally and in real time with our eRAM software and mobile APP. Now any anomaly in the goods receipt can be managed via software and tracked in the system.
After a long testing phase, Saras is satisfied with the result and the solution will be delivered to all warehouses of the refinery.
